Amelia's First Thanksgiving

Every Thanksgiving Tony and I head up to Connecticut to visit our family for Thanksgiving. This was Amelias first Thanksgiving, and her first plane ride...... and oh what an experience for us as well! Although we brought an entire adult sized suitcase full of winter clothes, she seemed to enjoy the cold air. The ride up she did fantastic, but the ride home we all caught a nasty stomach virus and it made everything a little bit more complicated. It was wonderful to see Amelia take so well to meeting some of her family for the first time.

Newest Facial Expression

As we prepare for our first plane trip (going to Connecticut for Thanksgiving).... we are testing out our cold weather outfits and Amelia is perfecting her newest facial expression.... the nose crinkle. Sometimes she accompanies the crinkle with a little snort which sounds very much like a laugh. She is the happiest baby in the entire world, we just hope she stays very happy on the 2 1/2 hour plane ride. Any tips or advice for the trip is very welcomed here!

The Spiniach Experience!

The baby LOVES to eat, and although we learned she is allergic to spiniach, she had no problem shovelling it down! Her motto seems to be "the messier the better" because she thinks its super fun to stick her fingers in the bowl of food, then fling her arms around...... covering the floor!

The Most Beautiful Baby in the World!

The number one compliment that Amelia receives, is that she has big beautiful eyes. The color is a greyish-green with little flecks of brown, somewhere between Tony and my grandmothers eyes. We say to each other everyday "she is the most beautiful baby in the world!"

Baby's First Halloween

Her little bumble bee outfit was perfect for her first Halloween, thank you grandma Joann (aka Ninah). She is the plumpest little bumble bee I've ever seen, and it was just cool enough outside for her to enjoy the suit.

Amelia's Baptism

We are so excited to annouce that Amelia will be baptized/dedicated on Sunday, November 16th at Northland Church. The ceremony will take place at 2:30PM in the afternoon, and we will be having a small reception at our house afterwards. We are happy to share this day with everyone, and if there is anyone we missed on our invitation list please post your email address.

FIRST WORD!!!!!

Amelia woke up this morning and decided she wanted to talk. She has been making noises for weeks now, but she very clearly said her first words this morning. I knew no one would believe me, so I had to get it on video. Her first word is..... MAMA!

The little lady got her first pair of tights as the weather gets cooler here in Orlando. She poses for this photo with her little toe pointed and twinkling hands. Since she was born she has always had this fascination with her hands, and moves them like a ballerina. I can already tell that she is going to be a very girly girl. Grandma Elaine (aka Grammie) is just to the left, and was the one to find this perfect little ensemble.
